A remarkable history of Vidkun Quisling, the individuals in Norway who were punished or faced consequences for their collaboration with the Nazi regime during and after World War II.

Numerous individuals were put on trial for their collaboration with Nazi Germany. Some individuals, including former members of the Nasjonal Samling (NS) party and Norwegian police officers who had collaborated with the Nazis, were interned in camps after the war.

As part of the denazification process, individuals who had been part of the NS party and other collaborationist organizations were investigated, and some faced restrictions on their post-war activities.

In the decades following World War II, Norway continued to deal with the legacy of collaboration and worked to address the historical record and individual cases through legal means and historical research.
