The Romanticization of the Dead Female Body in Victorian and Contemporary Culture

The Romanticization of the Dead Female Body in Victorian and Contemporary Culture

In “The Philosophy of Composition,” Edgar Allan Poe writes the infamous line: “the death, then, of a beautiful woman is, unquestionably, the most poetical topic in the world” (548). This problematic contention, which equates female death with poetic inspiration, is one of the hallmarks of the arts during the Victorian Age.

Poe, along with many famous male artists of the time, engaged with this idea and ultimately exploited young women throughout their work by implying that there is something inherently beautiful about their demise.

While many male writers and artists used the death of young women as their inspiration, some female artists of the Victorian Age, most notably Christina Rossetti and Elizabeth Siddall,1 used their art to highlight this exploitation and reclaim their subjectivity as creators, instead of passive muses.

Poe’s contention continued throughout the twentieth century with the death of Evelyn McHale, whose demise was hailed “the most beautiful suicide,” and has persisted into the twenty-first century (Cosgrove). From the suicide of Ruslana Korshunova to the hundreds of advertisements and modeling campaigns that glamorize female death, it is clear that the Victorian fascination and romanticization of the dead female body is intact in contemporary culture.

Ultimately, this romanticization has persisted in part due to the fact that representations of dead female bodies exemplify the feminine ideal: passive, visionless, and voiceless. Edgar Allan Poe’s contention that the death of a beautiful woman is the most poetical topic in art underlies a significant percentage of the literary works that he created throughout his short life. Poe’s obsession with portraying dead and dying women

A PRINCE WAS CAUGHT IN A CRIMINAL ACT AND WAS SERIOUSLY PUNISH BY SAUDI ARABIA AUTHORITIES.

A PRINCE WAS CAUGHT IN A CRIMINAL ACT AND WAS SERIOUSLY PUNISH BY SAUDI ARABIA AUTHORITIES.

A prince was caught in a criminal act, look at the saudi arabia authority did to him,

Saudi Arabia has flogged a prince convicted in a criminal case, a newspaper reported Wednesday, two weeks after another was executed for murder in rare punishment of the country’s royalty.

The unnamed prince was lashed along with other convicts in a prison in the Red Sea city of Jeddah on Monday, the Okaz daily reported.

It said the prince had been sentenced to flogging and jail without specifying the charges. It was unclear how many lashes he received.

Last month, Saudi authorities executed Prince Turki bin Saud al-Kabir in a highly unusual case involving one of the thousands of members of the royal family.

He was condemned to death for shooting dead Adel al-Mahemid, a Saudi, during a brawl.

Most people put to death in Saudi Arabia are beheaded with a sword.

Saudi Arabia is one of the world’s most prolific executioners and has a strict Islamic legal code under which murder, drug trafficking, armed robbery, rape and apostasy are all punishable by death.

Rights groups have also raised concerns about flogging sentences, including those handed to Saudi rights activist Raif Badawi, convicted of insulting Islam; and Palestinian poet Ashraf Fayad, convicted of apostasy.

Arrested in 2012, Badawi is serving a 10-year jail sentence and has received 50 lashes of a 1,000-lash sentence that caused international outrage.

A Saudi court in February commuted a death sentence against Fayad to eight years in jail, but maintained a punishment of 800 lashes in sessions of 50,

Shocking finding!

The Reason Why Most Married White Women Have Black Lovers

I learned the simple fact that many WW marry WM for the bag 💰 and once they are set, they go back to their pre marriage days of black lovers fun or just looking to finally fulfill a long time curiosity. Married or divorced this is prevalent in many places.

One thing women do is communicate greatly about their love life/ sexual relationships and many have varying things to say about black men.

With no need for money, stability, or family, growth all fulfilled then the life focus changes to personal desires and wants.

This is why if you go to Jamaica there are tons of single older WW. Or in the case of the Kardashians, they have their money and now for the boy toy sexual fulfillment of a black man.

This is not the only reason but definitely a huge factor in these relationships.

WW have always been attracted to and seeking black men.

Personally I think 🤔 it’s hilarious that without having money rewriting history demonizing enslaving murdering and control this would be 1000x worse for Mr. Fragility.

DIFFERENT TYPES OF SEX IN MARRIAGE!

DIFFERENT TYPES OF SEX IN MARRIAGE!

1. RECONCILIATION SEX:- Sex is a most potent weapon for diluting and difusing misunderstanding in Marriage. If you don't use SEX to settle some stubborn crisis, then you are missing out and not maximising it. In addition when you both settle a misunderstanding, the person at fault could initiate sex as a way to make up to the other who was on the receiving side of the conflict.

2. HEALING SEX:- There are some sicknesses and diseases that are cured by good Sex I mean very good Sex. Healing sex is gentle, it is full of grace and elegance. You don't rush it. Mbanu. You do it softly and it hits the bull's eye. Please Husbands, don't throw your weight on her if it's for healing, let the bed carry your weight 100%.

3. PUNISHMENT SEX:- When I counsel couples, are times I hear spouses say "Since he did that, I decided to punish him by depriving him of sex", or "since she refused me, I decided not to touch her again". That is as senseless as saying "since my child failed a Test, I punished him by withdrew him from school". It's foolishness. The wise thing to do is to give your spouse more sex as punishment rather than depriving him or her. When your husband or wife misbehaves, correct them using sex. That is the best punishment. Not slapping or fighting or public disgrace. Punishment sex is very hot. 😷

4. MEMORABLE SEX:- This is a very special kind of sex that you organise and plan for. Every couple must be doing this once in a while. Honeymoons should be organised at least once is a quarter (once in 3 months). If you have means, do it once a month. You book a hotel for say 3-7 days and retreat to help build your marriage. A kind of Intimacy Retreat. You mustn't go to hotel if you can't afford it. Just send the kids somewhere and make it memorable. Light Candles around and on the blue or green bulb. Use good perfume and the Angels will bear you witness.

5. QUICK SURPRISED SEX:- This is a sex that married couples should do often to build their love life. One "Quickie" is stronger than 100 Love Charms from India or Kitui. A Quickie is that very fast sex that a couple does in ODD places or in ODD position. Usually one spouse surprises the other with it. You don't take formal permission quickies. You just start it just like that. MARRIAGES WITHOUT QUICKIES HAVE QUICK PROBLEMS AND BREAK QUICK. Spouses who don't believe in surprise sex are analogue and expired. Quickies can be done in the car. Drive her to a corner and pretend as if the car didn't start. It can take place on kitchen sink or at the balcony or inside swimming pool or in garden.

6. EXERCISE SEX:- This type should happen frequently especially in the mornings. God did it that the male organ wakes up in the morning erect to greet it's Owner - the Wife. So as much as humanly possible, let every wife answer the morning greeting. God's mercies are New Every Morning. Great is His Faithfulness. Mercy and Faithfulness are co-joined twins.

7. ENCOURAGEMENT SEX:- You use this type of Sex to encourage your Spouse to do something or Not to do something. There are times he wants to do something that you think is not the best of decision, just come in the most seductive way and delay him. When he is exhausted after you have drilled him, speak softly and he will say "I didn't know that was what you were saying before, now I understand you".

8. REWARD SEX:- This is the type that you reward your spouse for achieving something unique or for exceeding expectations. Reward Sex is not just one round but extended over a period of time. Reward Sex is an open check to do whatever he or she loves. It's extra ordinary.

9. PROCREATION SEX:- This is sex you do purely for pregnancy. When you need child, the best style is the one that gives the husband maximum penetration. Support your wife with pillow is you aren't a longman. But you must make sure it is as wet as wetness can be. Sperm needs wetness to swim inside the womb. When he releases he must remain inside there for a few minutes. Don't pull fast.

Historical Methods Of Execution

Historical Methods Of Execution

With already so many ways to die, ancient executors would often get more creative than, say, a quick beheading that is comparatively humane due to the immediate disconnection of the brain that registers the pain to the rest of the body. Nevertheless, some of the most widespread ways of historical methods of execution have been discussed below.

This slow and agonizing method of execution involved the torturously dragged-out lowering of the victim into boiling oil, water, wax, or even wine or lead. Some would remain conscious through the initial stages of the excruciating sensations of their outer skin layer getting dissolved. Then, the complete destruction of the fatty tissue underneath would come into effect, followed by a continuous boiling everything underneath. Although it is often considered that the most torturous executions where victims can feel every step and stay conscious were reserved for those who committed the most gruesome crimes and horrendous murders historical records state that this method was used on thousands of Christians by Emperor Nero. Similarly, in the Middle Ages, mere coin forgers would receive the fate to die by this death, which was mainly practiced in FranceGermany, and the Holy Roman Empire between the 13th and 16th centuries. King Henry VIII of England also used this method on those who would fatally poison someone.

Confined Alive (Immurement)

The convicted person would be placed into an enclosed space with no way to escape, with the message to the victim being imprisoned for life, which shall no longer be extended, upon dying from dehydration or starvation. A notable moment in history, published in the 1922 issue of the National Geographic journal, involves the inability of a travel photographer, Albert Kahn, upon witnessing a Mongolian woman committed into a small box for adultery. She would beg for food, and he could do nothing about it, as that would go against another culture’s criminal justice system.  A report from a Chinese newspaper in 1914 fixated an instance when immurement involved entombing one in a heavy iron-bound coffin, where sitting upright or lying down was impossible. With another method involving confining a person alive behind a wall, immurement was essentially a mentally torturous slow-burn way of killing someone.

Crucifixion

In Ancient Rome, justice was class-based, with slaves having to display evidence in court under torture. It was also for them and the second-class Romans, known as humiliores, that the method of execution through crucifixion was reserved, with only some upper-class citizens getting subject to this death penalty. The convicted people to be crucified would be stripped naked and beaten with ropes or whips, upon which they would be forced to carry a huge wooden cross to their ultimate death spot. There, once nailed to the cross by hands and feet, they would accept stabbing, beating, and humiliating by soldiers and mere bystanders, who would want to have their way with the victim. Interestingly, it was considered merciful to be crucified head-down, making death arrive sooner, while the actual cause of death could be different every time. It would range from septic shock due to the open wounds or asphyxiation when the victim would get so exhausted from supporting their own body that they would stop breathing. Done in public as much as possible, the procedure was abolished throughout the Roman Empire in 337.

Flaying (Skinned Alive)

Some say that this death by execution takes the top as being most torturous. It is most painful due to its slow process, with the victim, first, being stripped and bound by hands and feet. A sharp blade was then used to peel away their skin from the head area down, which would inflict the most pain since there are so many nerve endings and the victim is still conscious. At times, pre-boiling particular body parts made the skin softer to peel. Dying from this method was often due to shock, blood or fluid loss, hypothermia, or infection, but the dying time could last from a few hours to a few days. Not a very common method of capital punishment, it meant to send a message that the body, an eloquent of the punitive, could be marked any way that the secular authority would please.

Flaying was practiced by a few nations, including the AssyriansAztecs, Chinese, and some Medieval European groups. The most notable case of flaying involved a female philosopher, Hypatia of Alexandria, getting flayed by a Christian mob.

Gibbeting

The main reason for gibbeting or the public display of a criminal’s death was to deter the spectators from committing those crimes. Done in a prolonged and painful manner, where the victim would stay conscious, screaming as long as they could, the executors would deliberately make a show of the execution. The graphic visualization included hanging the victim's lifeless body in an iron cage and displaying it in an open area for public viewing. This type of capital punishment was used in Scotland on convicted murderers, with the Murder Act of 1752 stating that the bodies of executed murderers shall be either dissected or hung in chains. The last use of gibbetting was recorded in the late 1770s but remained a legal option until 1834. The most known gibbetting case was Alexander Gillan's conviction, who was a farmer’s servant, having raped and murdered an 11-year-old girl, Elspet Lamb, in 1810, when she was herding her father’s cattle. The lord justice clerk considered that the magnitude of the crime reasonably matched that of the punishment. Demonstrating so, he gibbeted Gillan at the very place that the crime took place, hanging his body in chains to serve as a reminder of the consequences to others.

Hanged, Drawn, And Quartered

According to English law, capital punishment for women involved burning at stake, a more "decent" way to go, while the men convicted for high treason would be hanged, drawn, and quartered. The process would involve getting tied to a hurdle or a sledge and dragged by a horse to the place of execution. Hanged without a drop, which ensured that their neck wouldn't snap, the executors would then wait until the man was almost dead upon cutting him down, slicing off his genitals, and opening the stomach to gut the criminal. At the final stage, the victim would get beheaded, also known as post-mortum decapitation, and the body would be divided into quarters. The head and the quarters would then get parboiled to prevent rotting and displayed on the city's gates. Invented in 1241 to executeWilliam Maurice for piracy, the method kept being used in its whole spectre daily until the disemboweling portion was formally removed following The Treason Act of 1814, replacing it with hanging that would snap the neck bone.

Impaling

This renowned execution by Vlad, the Impaler, the famous 15th-century ruler of Wallachia, present-day Romania, was also the inspiration for Count Dracula. While depicted in pop media that the death arrives quickly by impaling through the midsection, in reality, the process was drawn out to be a genuinely torturous and horrific ordeal, with rapid death rarely occurring. The real-life process involved sharpening and fixing the stake up in the ground, with the victim placed over it and the spike inserted partway into their vagina or rectum. With the victim's body weight dragging them further down the wooden stake, their organs would get pierced in agonizing slowness, upon eventually penetrating the entire torso. The stake would exit the victim's body through the shoulder, neck, or throat. It was first used in 1772 BC in Babylonby King Hammurabi, who would order the women to be executed as a punishment for killing her husband. Some say it would take eight days to die, while the method was used until the 20th century, with the last record being by the Ottoman government during the Armenian genocide of 1915-1923.

Rat Torture

Since rats would virtually eat through anything that comes in their way, rat torture was considered one of the worst ways to go in the ancient world. The execution would involve putting the victim into a small cage with a rat positioned against their stomach. Heated from the outside, the cage, either with a candle, a flaming stick, or hot coals, would become so warm that it would ultimately anger the rat. Upon attempting to escape the unbearable environment, the rat would claw at the victim's stomach, quickly gnawing the way into the guts through the soft skin. Feeling unbearable pain through the process, the psychological element of the torture also involved mental agony, from the knowledge of what was happening to their body. The method was commonly used in Europe during the Dutch revolt of the seventeenth century by the Dutch leader, Diederik Sonay. It was also employed in the South American countries between 1964 and 1990, when the military dictatorships would execute that way in ArgentinaBrazilChile, and Uruguay. The Game Of Thronesdepicts how this execution method was ingenious and disgusting.

It appears that the goal of most executors was to torture by way of slow, excruciating death, as well as to display to others what shall happen if they were to repeat the crime, through the everyday use of publicly saying the victim, either still in agony, or upon death has already taken them. Subjecting the victim to mental torture was also widespread on those guilty of especially horrific crimes, for the psychological factor can be the same, if not worse, than the simultaneous physical aspect of torture.

Context of a Man Falling to His Death at a Utah Park

A 32-year-old man died after he plunged nearly 50 feet from a chair lift at a Lagoon Amusement Park in Farmington in Utah on August 14, 2021. People at the park saw him clinging to the chair's safety bar of the chair before he fell.

Lucy Grace Astilla recorded the tragic incident while riding with her husband.

Lucy said, “I thought it was a stunt, or he is a gymnast practicing for ‘American Ninja Warrior,’ rehearsing, but then I noticed he didn’t have any equipment that would save him from a fall.”

When they reached the ride operator, Lucy shouted, "Hello, can you, can you please stop the ride? Someone is hanging down."

Suddenly, the crowd started screaming. The man had fallen from the ride. The police said the fall didn't appear intentional.

The Park's spokesperson said, “No reason to believe there was a malfunction with the ride. The Sky Ride has been operating at Lagoon, without incident at the park since 1974. Every ride in the park undergoes intense safety inspections. This received an inspection Saturday morning.”

He already looks tired and he’s only at the beginning of the ride. That’s awful. Sounds like he probably fell at one of the highest points of the ride.

Here’s the cell phone footage of the man hanging right before he falls

THE EXECUTION OF COLONEL HO NGOC CAN BY THE COMMUNIST FIRING SQUAD.

THE EXECUTION OF COLONEL HO NGOC CAN BY THE COMMUNIST FIRING SQUAD.

"ARVN Colonel HO NGOC CAN (1940-1975

Ho Ngoc Can was admitted in the ARVN Junior Military Academy when he was 14 years old. After graduation, he served 4 years as an instructor sergeant in the same academy.

In 1961, he attended the Officer Candidates Class at the Dong De NCO Academy and was the distinguished graduate of the class in 1962.

After commissioned, Can served the Ranger Corps as a platoon leader.

He was promoted to captain in 1965, to major in 1968, to lieutenant colonel in 1971, and to full colonel in 1974. He was successfully commanding the 1/33 Battalion (21st Infantry Division), the 15th Regiment (9th Inf. Div.).

In 1974, Can was appointed province chief of Chuong Thien Province, Vietnam south area. On April 30, 1975, he refused to surrender to the enemy.

Along with his troops, Can was fighting with all his might, holding the provincial headquarters until 11:00 PM on May 1, when his forces were out of ammunition.

In the last minutes, he ordered the soldiers to leave the headquarters for safety while he and a faithful Popular Force militiaman covered them with a machine gun. He fell into the hands of the Communist force after he failed an attempt to kill himself.

He told the enemy that he wouldn't surrender, and asked them to let him salute the ARVN colors in his uniform before the execution.

Colonel Can was publicly executed by the Communist firing squad after a quick summary trial at a Communist kangaroo court.

Throughout American history, this has occurred many times, typically much earlier in history (American Revolution to the Civil War), however, one case occurred during World War II and marked the last time the US military would execute someone for desertion.

Late in WWII American forces needed replacements in greater numbers than what was already happening. Therefore, many Americans who had initially been rated 4-F now found themselves eligible for service.

This was the case for Edward “Eddie” Donald Slovik, who was initially rated 4-F in 1942 for his prison record (Grand Theft Auto) but due to the need for replacements in 1944 he received a rating of 1-A and shipped to Camp Wolter, Texas for basic training and by July 1944 he was at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland awaiting transportation to just his new unit Company G, 109th Infantry Regiment, 24th Infantry Division.

However, while in transit to his unit at Elbeuf, France he and Private John Tankey (a friend from training) got separated from their transport and Company during an artillery attack. A Canadian unit found them, and the pair stayed with them for the next six weeks.

During this time, Slovik decided to desert the Army altogether, despite Taneky attempting to talk him out of it. Once they rejoined their unit Slovik told his commander that he was “too scared and too nervous” to fight in the front and asked to be moved to the rear.

When the commander denied his request, Slovik told him if he was not reassigned, he would leave asking if that would count as desertion. His commander told him it would and that he would not be reassigned, therefore Slovik left, returning the next day and giving a note admitting and confessing to his crime of desertion and that he would desert again if forced into combat.

From there Slovik was brought to court-martial on November 11, 1944 and was found guilty by the end of the day and sentenced to execution by firing squad. Slovik started appealing his court-martial, each time being turned down.

Finally, Slovik made his final appeal to General Eisenhower, which was bad timing on his part. Slovik’s appeal to Eisenhower while the Battle of Bulge was occurring, and Eisenhower was not sympathetic to someone who both knowingly and willingly deserted from combat.

On December 23, 1944, General Eisenhower upheld Slovik’s conviction and on January 31, 1945, Private Edward Slovik was executed by firing squad for the crime of desertion. Slovik was the first person to be executed by the military for desertion since the Civil War and the last person executed by the military for that crime.

Alabama Teen Defends Home Against Intruder

Alabama Teen Defends Home Against Intruder

In 2016, Chris Gaither from Talladega, Alabama, found himself home alone when he heard suspicious noises indicating a break-in. Armed with his dad’s 9mm gun, Gaither confronted the intruder, warning him to leave or face consequences. Disregarding the threat, the intruder continued his activities, even threatening to k*ll Chris.

As the intruder made his way toward the door with stolen items, Chris took action, firing all 12 rounds from the 9mm handgun. The shots hit the intruder in the leg, causing him to collapse in pain. Chris proudly described the moment, stating, “It was a full metal jacket bullet, and it went straight through the bag and hit him in his leg. And he started crying like a little baby.”

Chris credited his marksmanship to target practice using zombies with his stepdad. The intruder, realizing the severity of the situation, fled before the police arrived.

Christopher Ryan Stringfellow, a 33-year-old accused burglar from Talladega, has been taken into custody and charged with first-degree burglary. The charges stem from an incident where an 11-year-old boy, Chris Gaither, shot Stringfellow in the leg during the burglary.

Chris had a message for the intruder, stating, “I hope you learned your lesson for trying to come to this house and steal stuff.” The incident serves as a testament to the effectiveness of self-defense measures taken by individuals in the face of a threat.

Mom dies pregnant the next day her sister visits her grave & got shocked

Mom dies pregnant the next day her sister visits her grave & got shocked.

Mom dies pregnant. The next day, her sister visits her grave and gets shocked. A shocking moment in a recently surfaced video captured a deceased pregnant woman gave birth to a baby in her grave. A dead woman could give birth two ways to a live child. The first is after a brain death.

Sometimes bodies with life support can continue to function even after doctors pronounced brain death. There was a case that made the news recently about a woman who gave birth to a healthy child after being pronounced brain dead. The other is via Csection. Very soon after the death of the mom. When the mom stops breathing, the baby, which receives oxygen from mom’s blood, also starts to die.

Death from lack of oxygen can be very fast. There is a very narrow window between mom’s death and fetus’death where a baby could potentially be born. If we assume that giving birth just means having a child, then a woman could have a baby via a surrogate after her death, potentially many years after her death if she froze OVA during her lifetime. Postmortem deliveries Where a woman has died and a live infant is birth, vaginally is extremely rare. One case where there was a woman that killed herself during active labor and the baby was delivered.

There is controversy. If the woman still had a heartbeat, so would not be considered a post mortem delivery. The baby gets oxygenated blood from its mother through the umbilical cord when the mother stops breathing, which is what happens when she dies. The fetus quickly runs out of oxygenated blood too, and it dies too. This will happen within a few minutes after the mother’s heart stops.

If a pregnant woman dies at say at least seven months gestation, the baby would have to be cut out of the woman’s body immediately and quickly. If pulled out quickly enough, the baby might survive. In some cases, a woman has been kept on life support with an artificial heartbeat and oxygen in order to give the fetus time to develop enough to survive, and then they pull the plug on the dead mother. Losing a loved one is without a doubt one of the most difficult ordeals in a person’s life. Even more so if the death involves a baby, it was most certainly a difficult time for that family and especially her sister, who decided to visit her grave and put some flowers.

But there was another shocking accident. What a crazy world. A rural community in Eastern Cape is stunned and baffled after a dead woman gave birth inside a coffin. The bizarre coffin birth has left some people crying witchcraft after a deceased 33 year old mother of five. Nom Valiso, no Masonto Madoy Matheisi Village.

The best part of life is dying to the past and getting reborn to the present. Nature of mind is emptiness, but we keep on gluing so many stuff complexity that we forgot to live the moment fully. Death gives realization that everything is so temporary and it has to end anyways. So why to waste time in becoming unhappy sorrow? Why don’t we just share and care and make others’lives better?

All your enemies are going to die anyway, so why bother about them so much? A woman named Noveliso from South Africa had complained of breathlessness for a couple of days, after which she suddenly passed away. She was the mother of five other children at her home in the village of Matthiasi in South Africa’s Southern Cape Province, as presented by family members. She neither nor anyone else was aware that she was pregnant before her death, so it came as a big surprise to find a baby. After ten days she had died.

The mother’s organism is programmed in such a way to ensure that the baby survives even if the mother had passed away. In this specific case, even if the baby which was born was still alive, its health could have been affected by the mother’s illness which caused her death.

Either way, the cold temperature within the mortuary, which is used to not allow corpses to start decaying, is what most probably killed the baby. There is no need for the mortuary to be checked as the people inside the fridge are dead, and no one would have expected a baby to be born out of a dead mother. The family of the deceased mother had been devastated by this news.

Some of the elder siblings believed that it had something to do with witchcraft. The mother had been buried with her deceased newborn. The company offering funeral services assured to check from now on and to ensure if the deceased person is pregnant in order to avoid such cases in the future. This is truly a unique case. Is it possible to give birth after death?

The question that everybody had been asking after this case had gone viral was whether it would be possible for someone who had died to give birth, especially after so many days. What many call coughing birth is medically known as postmortem fetal extrusion. It occurs during decomposition of the body, when tissues become depleted of oxygen and gases such as carbon dioxide and methane are released, as medical experts explained. At the same time, organ tissues are weakened and the mix of the gasses and weakened tissues causes the torso and limbs to become bloated. A few days after death, gas in the abdomen may cause the uterus to prolapse and the fetus to be expelled from the body.

However, as experts have stressed, there have been no records of a baby surviving following a coffin birth. How did the girl’s family react to the news? A fresh Tragedy While rare, it does happen, and the staff workers at the funeral directors have noted that in their more than 20 years experience, they’ve never heard of a dead woman giving birth. The case baffled many who came across the story. Even the family of the 33 year old woman.

However, what might have shocked and stunned them at first, it had soon left the family of the woman even more grief stricken, especially her 76 year old mother. Mandesla Medaue Woman’s Mother Speaks Out Having just gone through the stress of losing her daughter and unborn grandchild, the 76 year old then had to learn that the baby was in fact in a way born.

But of course it was still born. Speaking with the media, she said that she wants educated people, once you know better, to help cool down their emotions and explain to them how it was possible for a dead woman to give birth. She told them that she is now over 70 and has never heard of such a thing and asked why such a thing was happening to her child.

Witchcraft the cause of all the grief in the Eastern Cape or where the family are from? In recent years, there had been many crimes and death related to suspected witchcraft. Even as recently as March 2020, an elderly woman was drowned in her village after local men has suspected her of witchcraft. As a result of this, many elderly people have been relocating from their villages in fear of meeting the same fate. Those who believe in witchcraft had suggested to Noma Valiso’s family that maybe it was that that led to their dead daughter giving birth ten days after passing.

Though, as the Daily Mail had reported, they had ignored those suggestions. The funeral also despite the suggestions to take precautions with the body in case that it was all a result of witchcraft, the family went ahead with the funeral. The mother and child were laid to rest in one coffin, which was later cremated. There had been no further updates about the gender of the baby and whether the family had decided to name it. In addition, while this story might sound unbelievable, there had been some cases of women who had passed away with the help of medicine, bringing their pregnancies to term and giving birth to healthy babies.

It’s not clear whether the baby’s life could have been saved and doctors provide a different treatment when the mother fell ill. Children born 123 days after mother declared brain Dead Medical science has progressed so much that it managed to keep alive a brain dead pregnant woman for 123 days before delivering her twins via an emergency Csection.

Back in 2017, the story of 21 year old Franklin Dasilva Sampleini Padilla from Brazil, had caught the attention of heartstrings of internet users. The woman was pronounced brain dead after suffering a stroke while nine weeks pregnant. The doctors and the woman’s fiancee decided to keep the woman on a ventilator to save the nine week old embryos after their hearts continued to beat inside their mother’s womb.

Their father, Muriel Padilla, had described the birth of his children as a miracle after the doctors made it clear to him that they had no hope of the living ones surviving. The twins, a boy and a girl, were born at seven months and kept in incubators for three more months before being given the all clear and being discharged from the hospital.
