A female pickpocket in China came up with an unusual strategy to avoid getting ganged up on by an angry crowd after she was caught red-handed.

The unidentified thief decided to strip completely naked on the sidewalk after she got caught in the act of committing a crime on Tuesday at a bus stop in Shaoyang, Hunan Province.

However, her apparent effort to confuse onlookers turned out to be even more counterproductive as her tactic caused quite a commotion in the area. 

Instead of slipping away undetected, her eerie stunt attracted more attention from passersby.

She then reportedly challenged the bewildered crowd to try to touch her, reported. Part of the footage of the odd incident shows the crowd taunting her, with some women acting on her dare:

A male police officer soon arrived on the scene but was apprehensive in taking action due to the woman’s bare appearance.Thankfully, a crossing guard came by to assist in getting the woman clothed.

Two female police officers were also called in to escort the woman to the police station where she was detained for public indecency and suspected stealing of another person’s property.

Otera Bibi, 42, was tied to a tractor, stripped and had her head shaved by the furious villagers in India

HORRIFIC footage shows the moment a mentally disabled woman was beaten to death by a mob after she was wrongly accused of being a child kidnapper.

Otera Bibi, 42, was tied to a tractor, stripped and had her head shaved by the furious villagers after she was suspected of trying to snatch a 10-year-old girl.

A mob pounced on the mentally ill woman at Sekendra village in West Bengal, India, and attacked her for three hours with sticks and stones before she died of her injuries.

Otera had been living with her parents but wandered from her home to a nearby village last Tuesday.

Villagers spotted her walking into the home of local Dilip Ghosh with something in her hand.

Local reports claim that villagers feared Otera was holding a chloroform-soaked rag so she could abduct Ghosh’s young daughter.

A mob then rushed into the house and started beating her “mercilessly”.

“Some youngsters ripped off the woman’s clothes and they shaved off her hair,” one resident told the Hindustan Times.

“Then they tied her to a tractor and beat her for three hours.”

Disturbing footage shows the mob jeering as they attacked the woman.

Otera reportedly tried to protest her innocence but onlookers could not understand what she was saying.

Police arrived at the scene, but by the time they called for reinforcements Otera had died from her injuries.

The Murshidabad Superintendent said: "A mob beat up the woman after a rumour spread that she was trying to lift children from the village.

"We have started investigating the murder case. We are trying to identify the people involved in the lynching as well as those who spread the rumour.

“We will not spare the people who spread these rumours. We will also take action against the villagers who lynched Otera Bibi if her family lodges a complaint.”

Police have dismissed the villagers’ claims that Otera was a child abductor.

Otera’s husband said his wife was ‘’mentally challenged’’ and had been undergoing psychiatric treatment for more than a year.

A young woman was riding in her boyfriend’s truck when he struck a pillar, going 75 mph. Crushed in the mangled wreckage, she opened her eyes to see his head had gone through the windshield. His face was covered in blood, and his body lay motionless. Then, she glanced out the window and saw a man smiling at her. Even more shocking than the stranger standing in the road, however, is what was later found at the scene of the crash.

Arika Stovall was riding in the passenger seat of her boyfriend Hunter’s truck when it drifted off the road and slammed into a pillar at 75 mph, reducing the once-formidable vehicle to a heap of scrap metal with Arika trapped inside. The impact should have “chopped our bodies in half,” Arika admitted, but miraculously, she was still alive and even able to open her eyes.

Just seconds before the impact, Arika was certain she and Hunter were sliding towards certain death. As the truck drifted from the road, Hunter had just three seconds to react as they sped head-on towards a concrete pillar. His split-second reaction would either save their lives or seal their fate. Luckily, Hunter “did exactly what he needed to do to make sure my life didn’t end,” Arika recalled. But, she knows he didn’t act alone.

“God helped Hunter to respond exactly the way he did behind the wheel, guiding the truck exactly where he should have to be able to avoid smashing head-on into the pillar,” Arika wrote in a Facebook post. “That doesn’t just happen. God doesn’t throw protection around like that for no reason. He does it because he’s not finished with us.” That’s not all God did that day, either.

Arika couldn’t believe what she witnessed next. Trapped with no one around to see that they desperately needed help, Arika panicked and began to scream. Her eyes anxiously searched her surroundings, first looking towards the driver’s seat. Hunter, whose head was through the windshield, wasn’t moving and wouldn’t respond.

Hunter was bloodied and motionless, and Arika felt helpless — but that all changed the instant she looked out the truck’s window. “There was a man — bright with a big white beard. No other cars in sight — just this man,” Arika recalled, and she knew exactly who he was. “He was my guardian angel. He saw me and immediately told me that an ambulance was coming.”

Although Arika isn’t sure if she was in a dream state or seeing a glimpse of heaven, she said, “I knew in that moment was that Hunter was safe with me.” But, the sight of the smiling man gave her something more than just affirmation that Hunter would be okay. As she kept her eyes on him, Arika was protected from further trauma.

“This man — looking at him for a short moment — helped me not witness Hunter being peeled out of the truck. I believe if I saw that I would have had a heart attack,” Arika explained. Instead, this beaming, bright vision kept her attention diverted.

Then, the stranger simply walked away, and when Arika blinked, a flashlight was suddenly shining in her face. The paramedics had arrived, and Arika and Hunter were about to experience yet another miracle.

“Here is the miracle part: no broken bones, concussions that lasted not even 24 hours, no internal damage, and just a few stitches in my knee and hunters face,” Arika wrote. “Only that after an accident that paramedics wonder how we didn’t die instantly and a truck that looks like it’s been through a tree grinder.”

Both Hunter and Arika were released from the hospital not even 48 hours after entering. And, again, they would receive yet another miracle. When they returned to the scene of the crash, they found Hunter’s Bible, “open, with a page marked with scripture telling us to not be afraid; Jesus is with us,” Arika said.

“I’m in awe of the presence of God in this entire situation. Every part of this experience we went through points directly to Him,” Arika wrote. “I am amazed. Absolutely taken away by the presence of God, so blessed for him sending me an angel, so thankful for Hunter and his second chance at life, for his healing and health.”

Arika closed with a prayer for all of us who read her incredible story, which is proof of God’s unwavering plan for each of us and that nothing in this physical world can derail what He has already determined. “Tonight I’m praying for all of you,” Arika Stovall wrote. “I want everyone to know the love and the power of God,” she continued.

“He has a purpose, and it’s so clear that nothing, not even a car accident like this one, will cause His plans for you to change,” Arika explained. “I’m praying that everyone who reads this can get a glimpse of God’s faithfulness. He is good. And working. And the plans he has for you and your life aren’t going anywhere,” she declared.

“Good or bad … it’s God’s doing. It’s his plans unfolding. It’s his kingdom coming. Embrace the struggles and the joys of this life! Without a doubt, it’s a miracle we’re alive, but more than that, it’s simply Gods plan for us. We’re so grateful for this wreck,” Arika added, saying she’d endure it all again if it meant helping more people know God. “We are blessed to be okay. And so in love with the amazing God we serve.”

A video trending online shows a woman being publicly humiliated after being stripped naked by some villagers in Aguleri community of Anambra state. 

The woman who tried to cover her modesty in the video, was accused of killing her husband by sleeping with another man. 

A man was heard saying in the crowd "O lagburu di ya", contextually translated to mean 'she caused her husband's death by committing adultery'.  

The man also said that the woman should remain naked for the world to see. 

The Anambra state police command has confirmed the incident, saying that the woman was rescued from a mob in Aguleri community of the state on Saturday March 12.

The police said a principal suspect had been arrested in relation to the inhuman treatment. The state police spokesman, Tochukwu Ikenga, said; 

“The Anambra State Police operatives have today, 12/3/2022, rescued a female victim from an angry mob in Aguleri.

“The rescue was as a result of a report from a trending video where a lady was publicly molested and assaulted on an alleged incident of causing the death of her late husband.

“The Commissioner of Police, CP Echeng Echeng, while describing the act as barbaric, states that one suspect is already in custody and ordered an immediate study of the video with the aim to identify the suspects, arrest and bring them to book.

“Further information reveals that the deceased had already been buried before the video started trending. 

The victim was rescued and she is currently receiving medical care in the hospital. More development shall be communicated please.”

A naked man and woman have plunged to their deaths from a third-floor balcony after rolling over the edge during sex.

 The bodies of the unnamed 28-year-old mother and her 35-year-old lover were found sprawled on the adjacent terrace.

The fall happened after a graduation party thrown by the woman at her home in the Carapungo district of Quito, Ecuador.

In front of incensed locals, a suspected rapist was severely beaten for allegedly raping a 10-year-old girl in the state of Bayelsa. It was reported that after the young girl begged him for money, the young man tricked her into going into his bedroom.

She allegedly consented when he asked her to come into his room so he could take the money, not realizing he had another goal in mind. He went straight for the girl and raped her as soon as she walked in. After the girl complained to her mother, the neighborhood was alerted.

The man got himself up quickly, undressed, and flogged the heck out of them in front of them.

He attributed his acts to the devil, according to witnesses at the site.

The family of Henry Goodness is still to come to terms with the fate that has befallen them. The nine-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide, throwing the entire neighborhood of Angwan Yashi in Tudun Wada, Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State into anguish.

They are also baffled at how a promising boy could terminate his life abruptly

Henry’s body was found lying on the ground of the compound around 3.30pm on Tuesday by neighbours where he lived with his parents and siblings, with the rope still tied around his neck. The parents were not at home when the incident occurred.

However, his mother said she could not be fooled into believing that he killed himself. She alleged that Henry was killed and a rope apparently was put around his neck by the murderers to make it look like a suicide.

At the time of his death, Henry was a primary one pupil of Messiah Foundation Private School in Tudun Wada, Jos.

Hanatu, who spoke amid tears, said, “Nobody will tell me that my son committed suicide because when I left him this morning he was full of life. They have just finished their examination and he felt there was no need to go to school.  He was playing in the house.

“On Tuesday I went to the hospital with Henry’s younger brother early in the morning and I left him in the house. He was full of life. After leaving the hospital, I went to visit my mother at Jenta Adamu and few hours later I got a call from my husband informing me that our son had been killed.

“I suspect foul play. I believe my son was killed and then his corpse was hanged. My son can never do anything like that he was full of life that morning. I’m calling on the police to do everything possible to bring the killers of my son to book.”

Not less perplexed was his uncle, Goodness, who said a neighbour called him on phone to tell him of the tragedy.

“I rushed from my office to their house and saw the boy hanging in the compound,” he said.

The dead boy’s grandfather, who called himself Pa Goodness, shared the views of Henry’s mother.

With tears dropping from his eyes, he said, “I suspect foul play. My boy could not have hanged himself, not for any reason. The boy had no problem at all. He had no reason to commit suicide. Something must have gone wrong. I would also want them to conduct an autopsy on my son.”

The house where the tragedy took place has over 20 tenants.

At Tudun Wada Police Station, our correspondent was told by a policeman that the case had been transferred to the A division of the state police command.

The state command’s spokesman, DSP Adigun Salawu, told Saturday PUNCH that the case had been referred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for proper investigation.

Salami said the police were working on a theory that the boy committed suicide because of the rope found around his neck.

H said. “We are working on the theory that he committed suicide, until the parents come up with any evidence of foul play. However, we are not ruling that out. We are exploring all angles to ensure that we get to the root of the matter.”

Gruesome pictures show crowds gathering at a public square in Sana'a, Yemen, as the men are shot dead.

The three thugs have been convicted of raping and killing ten-year-old Mosad Saleh al-Mothana.

Yemeni officers forced the men, dressed in blue overalls, to lie face down on a mat.

A policeman shot each man in turn, through the back with five bullets aiming for the heart.

Their bloodied corpses were strung up from a crane for all to see.

It comes after the public hanging of Hussein al-Saket, 22, who was convicted of abducting, raping and murdering a four-year-old girl.

Saket was brought to Tahrir Square in Sanaa – which the Shiite Huthi rebels have controlled since 2014 – before being forced to lie face-down on the ground.

Ali Ayedh, the victim's uncle, said Saket "took part in the search for the girl before being unmasked" as her killer during the police investigation.

He said his public execution would act as a "deterrent for criminals".

The executions have been framed as an example of the Shiite rebels' efforts to combat crime in their areas.
